National Power Grid Company Transelectrica signed on Friday brokerage contract ipreo with the Romanian Commercial ipreo Bank (BCR) as an intermediary for the inaugural issue of unsecured corporate bonds, amounting to 200 million lei (about 45 million), according to a report submitted to BSE.
Transelectrica yet announced in late June that it plans to launch in November a bond issue that would borrow 200 million from institutional investors to refinance loans for investment financing needs filling.
Transelectrica is the operator of the national power transmission and control state, through the Ministry of Finance, 58.69% of the company. 13.5% of the Fund's shares and SIF Oltenia owns 7.11%.
